mud

It's been pretty wet here lately,and i have been out taking pics of the girls playing in the mud.

Harvey Norman currently have a photo comp going where you can enter your kids pics with a caption for some prizes, So I entered this one of Bruiser with the caption 'Mud, what mud?'

VAMPIRES!!!!

Today I had the pleasure of attending a shoot for Beck's photography http://www.becksphotographybrisbane.com/ She was doing a commercial shoot for a USA clothing company http://missconstrued.com/ and invited me to attend to watch. I was excited to see this shoot and to see Beck's vision become a reality. The added bonus for me was Beck had organised for Mel from Meloo photography http://www.meloophotography.com.au/ to come along and mentor us! It was such an honour to be there! Of course my bestie Lauren from Photo Synergy http://www.photosynergy.com.au/ was there too, so I couldn't have asked for a better day! The weather was perfect, the models were gorgeous and the day was just fantastic! I learnt SO much today, I learnt how to do a few things and also that I know nothing in comparison to these amazing photogs! and that despite the fact that I know I have a lot to learn, just how much I have left to go on this journey was beyond my comprehension! But I will get there!

Simon and Blaire's Wedding!

I had the pleasure of being the photographer for my beautiful cousins wedding last saturday!
The scene was A sunset wedding aboard a boat surrounded by family and friends.
The vow's were Tear jerking, the speeches were beautiful, her beautiful Sister Karla sang them the most beautiful song with her amazing voice! The night was just amazing and A credit to the Bride and Groom for coming up with an amazing way to celebrate their love!
I am still processing pictures, but wanted to give the very patient Bride a sneak peak, so I thought I would share it with you all too.

stranger!

Yes I know, I have been a very big stranger lately! My apologies!!

Anyhoo!!

I have my FIRST solo wedding to shoot tomorrow and I am PACKING IT!!!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!

So nervous, and of course my first assignment had to be a HARD one.. A night wedding, on a boat!!!!!!! yep you hear correctly! challenge and a half!!!

I am looking forward to it though, great challenge, great experience, as long as I don't stuff it up LOL.

fingers crossed for me guys, I have a feeling I am going to need it!!

Oh and I can't make a post without a pic or two, or three.. so here is some of my girls and my nephew over easter xxxx

Raining!!!!

Two posts in one day!! WOW!

It's been raining all day here today, the girls went out briefly this morning to play.. These are two shots I got!

More Pubbing!

Went and did another shoot at the local tavern Friday night.

Much happier with these shots, felt more confident. Knew the people and what to do.

It's a shame the model lacked personality as far as loving the camera went!!! She did get there eventually though!
