My little ones!

I finally found the time and some decent weather to do my own kids shoot for the year!
Hmmm.... yep hmmm.... they are hard to pose! Usually both LOVE getting their photo's taken, but not so much on the day it counts lol.
Diva had just been given a new doll and was r
eluctant to pose without it! Bruiser was more worried about how long this was going to take because the park behind them was desperately calling her!
I managed a few good shots, and I got one
with their god mummy which is an awesome piccy! The two candids are my fave but oh well, the good thing about them being my kids, is I can re-shoot when ever I like lol.
Here they are anyway :)

The 'H' Family

I had the pleasure of doing The 'H' families shoot on Thursday! The weather was beautiful for a change, although it made for some HARSH light!! We had booked the shoot for overcast weather so shot a little too early! About an hour out from the shoot I went and hurt my wrist so needless to stay the start wasn't that fantastic! I know this family personally and know little toddler ''D'' is a very smiley happy people.. well NOT TODAY!
Not that she wasn't happy, infact she was, just not up for smiling for the camera, instead opting to stare at it with a serious face, or smile happily in a direction the camera couldn't get her! we persisted for nearly two hours before deciding enough was enough and we'll hope for a money shot! I think we got lucky in the end.
Here's your sneak peak Dan, hope you like them, and thanks for letting me photograph your girls :D

The M family

Today I had the pleasure of shooting the M family's Christmas photos! Man the world was against us, I woke up very ill and it's been raining non stop here for weeks! Today was really our only day to do it, as we are all busy for the rest of this week and with only two weeks until Christmas, we're already cutting it short for printing. So after uming and arrhing all day as to whether I could push through nausea and vomiting (the two ONLY things I can't push past) and whether or not the weather would break enough to shoot, we decided to just do it! I downed some maxalon, cried at the rain and went along with positivity in place! And I think it paid off! Thanks A for letting me capture your beautiful family, I hope you
like the pictures as much as I do!!! Here's a sneak peak:

Odin

Obviously just snap shots, but they do mean a lot.
Odin is our family dog (mum and dad's.) He's about 9 years old? Maybe a bit older/younger and A lover of all things baby lol.
When Brideah was a bub, Odin used to PANIC if she cried or seemed upset, and even now, he gets very upset if one of his babies are crying or screaming (even when they are playing!!)
He is about to have a live in baby with the birth of Christian only days away (PLEASE ONLY DAYS!!!), and I wonder who is going to cry more?? The baby or the dog who gets heartbroken by upset babies??
None the less he is a MUCH loved addition to our family, loved by all, especially bruiser who loves to hang out with him and give him kisses. She is of course, always second to Odin's best friend, Hamish the cat.. Odd I know, but their friendship is cute!!
Enjoy!

reminiscing

We lost my grandma nearly 4 years ago to Cancer, she was a VERY important person in my life and I am eternally saddened by the fact that she cannot be here while my babies grow.
When I was a child, and would go to 'makar's' for sleep overs, she would let me help with dinner, my job, to get all the snow pea's out of the pods. I loved it, best job in the world!!
My mum got my girls to do this the other week and it reminded me of the fun I used to have helping Makar with tea. Brideah was with me at the shops the other day and asked if she could have some snow peas, and this afternoon, her and Maddi sat down to eat them. It kept them occupied for over an hour and I sat in awe watching them and being reminded about how much fun I had doing the same job :D
Enjoy!

Hop Grasser

Yes Hopgrasser!! That is What Diva calls Grass hoppers and praying-mantas'.
This is one that decided to befriend my Brother last week. Loved him to bits and grabbed the interest of Bruiser, who just thought the thing was so cool.. well until she squashed it picking it up. Thankfully she didn't kill him, and he hung around my brother for another hour before going his own way.. Strange creature!!

Dancing and jumping in the rain lol.

We had a great down pour the other week, after a STINKING hot day. So my beautiful girls decided to go and splash and dance in the rain!! Such free spirits my kidlets lol.

The girls

You all hear the saying 'boys will be boys' but I have to say my girls will be boys too lol.
Here are a few snaps of them playing and getting into mischief.. Like drawing on each-other! Pushing the baby on the bike on the grass, knowing it will rip the grass and get them into trouble lol.. Thankfully they aren't sneaky with their mischief... YET!

You scream, I scream, We all scream for Ice cream!!!

Saturday afternoon as I was cleaning out my car, I hear the ice cream van approaching. I thought 'GREAT!! Ice cream vans like when we were kids'!! I raced inside and grabbed my purse and yelled out to the girls to come and get some ice cream.
They both picked out their choice and back home we went with our ice cream.. Apparently they melt REALLY fast nowadays so we got allot of mess out on the pergola and on the babes! More mess than they got ice cream lol...
