I had the pleasure of taking some shots of this handsome man. My very first newborn shoot..

I don't have studio, I have never shot babies for others before, just random shots I take and like, so this was a challenge and reward all in one for me.

Mum and bub were both very tired, bub didn't want to sleep with company there,

so we quickly took the shots we could with what we had and left mum to rest.

Sorry guys, life has seriously gotten the better of me lately. SO much has been going on!!

Well a brief catch up for you..

I AM AN AUNTY!! pics of my beautiful nephews arrival is below for you :) Christian James came into this work screaming his guts out (lol) almost 12 weeks ago :)

We have moved and are settling in nicely. SO many wonderful photo ops out here. I just have to find the time to get out there.

I started back in the work force almost a month ago now, it's great I am loving every minute of it!!!

The children are good, growing up way to fast but not fast enough at the same time (hehe)

Odin

Obviously just snap shots, but they do mean a lot.

Odin is our family dog (mum and dad's.) He's about 9 years old? Maybe a bit older/younger and A lover of all things baby lol.

When Brideah was a bub, Odin used to PANIC if she cried or seemed upset, and even now, he gets very upset if one of his babies are crying or screaming (even when they are playing!!)

He is about to have a live in baby with the birth of Christian only days away (PLEASE ONLY DAYS!!!), and I wonder who is going to cry more?? The baby or the dog who gets heartbroken by upset babies??

None the less he is a MUCH loved addition to our family, loved by all, especially bruiser who loves to hang out with him and give him kisses. She is of course, always second to Odin's best friend, Hamish the cat.. Odd I know, but their friendship is cute!!

reminiscing

We lost my grandma nearly 4 years ago to Cancer, she was a VERY important person in my life and I am eternally saddened by the fact that she cannot be here while my babies grow.

When I was a child, and would go to 'makar's' for sleep overs, she would let me help with dinner, my job, to get all the snow pea's out of the pods. I loved it, best job in the world!!

My mum got my girls to do this the other week and it reminded me of the fun I used to have helping Makar with tea. Brideah was with me at the shops the other day and asked if she could have some snow peas, and this afternoon, her and Maddi sat down to eat them. It kept them occupied for over an hour and I sat in awe watching them and being reminded about how much fun I had doing the same job :D

P!NK!!!!!!

OMG WHAT!! a FABULOUS night!!

As you can probably tell (lol) I went to see P!NK last night. She was just amazing!

I could only take in a P&S camera as pro ones weren't allowed.. Thanks to the AWESOME Lolly ;) we got good enough seats that I could get some shots on the P&S!!

Mum loves the shots, thinks I should email them to the Entertainment Centre!! Will have to look into it lol.

So excuse the quality but enjoy the share!! Let me know what you think

Rain drops.

It poured down here last Friday, and my lovely friend Erin was here so we decided to muck around with the camera and see what we could come up with.

Here is the fruits of my labour. I won't put hers on here, as they aren't mine :)

There have been some more flooding here of late! I dragged my poor friend all around with me to take pictures. She really didn't mind as she'd not seen flooding before (sheltered lol)

Sandii's!

A few months ago I went and spent the day with my gorgeous gal Sandii.. Her place is so awesome.. acres upon acres of land and a beautiful little cottage style house to call home!!

You feel relaxed just thinking about her place, let alone actually being there.

This very slack friend though (ie.. ME) has yet to give miss Sandii all the shots we did. Here is a taste and book me in for coffee in the next fortnight chooky :)
